Downloading your Ancestry DNA

Here are the steps to getting your DNA from Ancestry:

Click this shortcut to log into your account.
Click on the person whose DNA you want to download.
Scroll to the bottom of the next page. Under "Download or delete", click Download DNA data.
Follow the rest of their instructions and wait for the email allowing you to download the DNA. You’ll get an email at the email address connected to your Ancestry account. It contains a link to download your DNA file and usually arrives in about 15 minutes but in some cases could take up to a few hours to receive the email.
